Text Alert Sign-up
Text alerts are only for Anthony Tatis and the people who help manage a website he runs, such as the owner of a business whose site he maintains. Nobody is added without agreeing first. Anthony asks each person in person or on a phone call, using this script, and adds their number only after they say yes.
Verbal consent script
Anthony: "Before I add your number: Anthony Tatis Site Alerts will text you when a website or booking form you help manage stops working, starts working again, or has a change published. It's up to 10 messages a month. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time, and agreeing isn't a condition of any purchase. The terms and privacy policy are at legal.anthonytatis.com. Do you agree to get these texts at this number?"
Person: "Yes."
Record of consent
For each person, Anthony records their name, mobile number, the date and time they agreed, and how (in person or by phone). The number is added to the alert list only after that.
Confirmation message
The first text each person receives confirms the sign-up:
Anthony Tatis Site Alerts: You're signed up for website alerts. Up to 10 msgs/mo. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Opting out
Replying STOP to any message stops all alerts right away. People can also ask Anthony to remove them. See the SMS terms and privacy policy.
